My name is Eric Goodwin Sr. I am running for a seat on the East Ramapo Central School Board. I am married to Penny Goodwin. I currently live in the section of Nanuet that falls under the purview of the East Ramapo Central School district. We have one son, Eric Jr, 12, who attends Eldorado Elementary and will be attending Chestnut Ridge next year. I a product of the New York City Public School system as a class of 1989 graduate of Stevenson HS in the Bronx. I graduated from Morris College in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.
I bring to the table 29 years of military experience as a Chief Warrant Officer 3 in the United States Army Reserves as well as 15 years as a Human Resources Specialist for the Department of Veteran Affairs. Simply put my job is to get the right people in the right place to ensure success! My accolades include the Bronze Star Medal, 2 Meritorious Service Medals, a host of Army Commendation and Achievement medals. I have held various positions to include Commander, Executive Officer, Chief of Personnel Operations and Contracting Officer Representative (COR).
